The Life of Isaiah

Isaiah was a man who lived in the ancient Kingdom of Judah. He was a prophet, and he is known for his prophetic visions. In the end, Isaiah was vindicated by God, and he is celebrated as a hero.

Isaiah in the Bible:

“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.” (Isaiah 1:1)

“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth!

For the LORD has spoken:” (Isaiah 1:2)

“‘I have nourished and brought up children ,

And they have rebelled against Me;'” (Isaiah 1:3)

“The ox knows its owner

And the donkey its master’s crib;

But Israel does not know,

My people do not consider.” (Isaiah 1:3)

“Ah, sinful nation,

A people laden with iniquity,

Offspring of evildoers,

Children who deal corruptly!

They have forsaken the LORD,

They have provoked to anger

The Holy One of Israel,

They have turned away backward.” (Isaiah 1:4)
