The Life of Joseph

Joseph’s story is told in the Bible, in the book of Genesis. Joseph was born into a large family in the land of Canaan. His father Jacob loved him more than any of his other sons, and this caused jealousy among Joseph’s brothers.
When Joseph was 17 years old, his brothers sold him into slavery. He was taken to Egypt, where he worked as a slave for several years. However, Joseph was a man of great faith, and he remained obedient to God.
Eventually, Joseph’s hard work and obedience led him to a position of power in Egypt. He became the Pharaoh’s right-hand man, and he was responsible for saving the Egyptian people from famine.
